We convert a 120 voltage household electrical into a 12 voltage by using a transformer. This serves two important purposes, safe outdoor use and greater electrical efficiency use (which will save you money!). Each transformer is equipped with a timer and a manual on/off switch. Additional options, such as photocell (on at dust, off at dawn), motion sensor, and remote control, can also be added.
